This series comprises files of staff newsletters produced by The Royal Melbourne Hospital (VA 1048). The newsletters provided information to staff regarding departmental functions and activities, new services and medical developments and treatments, award and grant recipients, funding campaigns, building and departmental openings, senior appointments, organisational restructures, and in-house and collaborative research activities. Researchers may also wish to refer to VPRS 19276 Newsletters, Nursing Division. Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Archives.
