A comparative analysis of the visitor bounce rate of merchant stores within the same industry is performed between the previous day and the current day. The visitor bounce rate on the current day refers to the ratio of the number of visitors who did not conduct any click behaviors to the total number of visitors, calculated as 1 minus (number of visitors who performed click actions / total number of visitors). (Click behaviors include purchases, adding items to favorites, adding to shopping cart, clicking on product reviews, clicking on Ask & Answer, clicking on hyperlinks, and other similar actions.) The percentage change (increase or decrease) of the current day's visitor bounce rate compared to the previous day is computed. Year-on-year data is presented across different time cycles including real-time, daily, weekly, and monthly.
