The bacterial communities inhabiting the sulphurous mineral waters of six spas were analysed by massive sequencing (Illumina MiSeq). Each spa was sampled in two seasons of the year (spring and autumn), and in two different sampling points, the wellspring water and the therapeutic water (bath).
