The SMART (Sardinia MAllorca Repeated Transect) glider mission datasets are part of the long-term endurance program between a repeated longitudinal transect between Menorca (Spain)-Sardinia (Italy), in the Western Mediterranean Sea, for monitoring the medium to long term variability of the surface and intermediate water masses. The archive spans nearly a decade, covering missions conducted from 2025 to 2024. The dataset delivers quality-controlled vertical profiles (up to 1000m depth) of navigation and physical variables (timestamps, pressure, temperature, conductivity, pitch, roll, oil volume for buoyancy control, and GPS coordinates). Working the Slocum Deep Glider "TERESA", owned and managed by CNR-ISMAR and piloted by SOCIB-GF.
