Matching pairs of fracture surfaces from plastic reflectors parts

Microscope images of matching fractured surfaces for 24 pairs of plastic reflectors, 8 pairs of automotive parts, and 11 pairs of silicone cast replicas for the plastic reflectors. Each pair was imaged by 2 separate operators, with each pair including 6 images for each of the base and tip surfaces.The data can be used for various image processing exercises, including automated matching of the fractured surfaces. With multiple repetitions and operators, this data can also be used to analyze source of variation for the measurement system used on the samples.<br>
