This dataset provides data on the number of damaged buildings in Nepal resulting from the April 25, 2015 Gorkha earthquake. It is developed using building data sourced from OpenStreetMap, with predictors including distance to the earthquake's epicenter, seismic intensity, the spatial distribution of buildings across Nepal, and building material types for seismic-induced building loss forecasting, and is constructed using housing damage statistics compiled by the Government of Nepal.
