This dataset contains global and targeted (PRM) lipidomics data generated from cisplatin-resistant (cisR) and cisplatin-sensitive (cisS) MDA-MB-231 triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cell lines. The study aims to identify lipid metabolic alterations associated with the development of cisplatin resistance in TNBC. Lipid extraction was performed using the chloroform and methanol extraction method, followed by high-resolution LC-MS/MS analysis for untargeted lipid profiling. Targeted PRM assays were developed based on global results to validate specific lipid species altered in resistant cells. The dataset includes raw and processed files of global and targeted lipidomics, which provide insight into membrane remodeling, phospholipid composition changes, and dysregulation of lipid metabolic pathways contributing to the chemoresistant phenotype.
