To elucidate the mechanism by which beta-hydroxybutyrate (betaOHB) affects antigen-specific CD8+ T cells, we performed RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) on tumor-infiltrating CD8+ T cells cultured in fresh medium or in supernatant containing betaOHB. Network analysis revealed that betaOHB influenced pathways related to metabolism, function, and survival.
