Water temperature, salinity, currents, and others taken by CTD and ADCP from the research vessel Keifu Maru, cruise 21-02, in the North Pacific Ocean from 2021-02-22 to 2021-02-23 (NCEI Accession 0227853)

This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, currents, and other chemical and biological parameters taken by CTD and ADCP from the research vessel Keifu Maru (cruise KS21-02) in the North Pacific. The entire cruise was carried out during the period from February to March, 2021. Hydrographic observation was made using a Sea-Bird Electronics (SBE) 36 position carousel equipped with 10-liter Niskin water sample bottles, a CTD system (SBE911plus) equipped with JFE Advantech oxygen sensor (RINKO III) along longitude 165 degree East. Water samples were analyzed for salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, pH and phytopigment (chlorophyll-a and phaeopigments). Current data was measured by Teledyne RDI's vessel-mounted ADCP system (38kHz Ocean Surveyor).
