This dataset is named 'Solar Dataset for Exploring the Impact of Stellar Activity on Astrometry in Solar Dynamics Observatory Images', and was created by the Department of Physics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research. This dataset contains 2700 solar images acquired from NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), which are utilized to study the impact of sunspots on astrometric accuracy. The development of this dataset involves image downloading, processing and analysis to calculate the offset between the centroid flux and the geometric center caused by sunspots. This dataset is mainly used to investigate error sources in astrometry, especially those induced by stellar activity, so as to enhance the accuracy of exoplanet detection.
