Mapping the Survey Line Spiral into the Transformer Algorithm: From Geometric Perception to the Underlying Structure of Attention

The Transformer algorithm has achieved remarkable success in natural language processing and artificial intelligence, yet a theoretical explanation of "why it works" still lacks a fundamental physical foundation. Based on the frameworks of World Quantum Theory (WQT) and Primitive Space Theory (OST), this paper maps the Survey Line Spiral — the unique geometric form of steady-state motion under the three postulates of WQT — onto the core components of the Transformer. We argue that each layer of Transformer operations is essentially a geometric reading of the Survey Line Spiral across different frequency layers. Self-attention corresponds to phase matching at different angles along the spiral; multi-head mechanism corresponds to multi-path frequency division; residual connections correspond to the maintenance of inter-layer tension; layer normalization corresponds to the stabilization of phase-locked manifestation; feedforward networks correspond to frequency modulation; and autoregressive generation corresponds to self-referential measurement. This paper provides a precise geometric-physical foundation for the Transformer and indicates that its success is not an accidental engineering invention, but a natural implementation of quantum logic on silicon-based carriers.
