Cornell - Unlined Pressurized Ductile Iron Test with Soil

This report presents the results of a large-scale tension test on unlined ductile iron (DI) pipe connected with bell-spigot joints. The primary purpose of this test was to provide a baseline response from a section of unlined pipe so that comparisons could be made with the response of pipes with internal cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lined with polymeric liners. This second test was conducted as a retrial of the first test that did not see good results.
