Gap filled water map derived from SWOT

The products represent the final gap-filled water extent maps derived from SWOT observations. Water extent was reconstructed in regions with missing SWOT observations using a per-pass gap-filling framework that combines SWOT water occurrence, permanent water information, and a topography-derived Floodability Index. The dataset includes three study regions: 1. Upper Negro River, Brazil 2. Porto Alegre, Brazil 3. Dnipro River, Ukraine Datasets are provided as NetCDF files with dimensions: time × latitude × longitude Variable: water_map Values: 0 = non-water 1 = water NaN = no-data Study regions include: - Upper Negro River: evaluation site used for pseudo-missing-data experiments. - Porto Alegre: 2024 flood event. - Dnipro River: 2023 Nova Kakhovka dam-failure flood event.
