资源简介:
This dataset contains surface ocean particulate chemical oxygen demand (PCOD) from the analysis of organic matter (POM) samples taken along the Atlantic Meridional Transect (AMT) between the 25th of September and 27th of October 2018 during the research cruise JR18001 (AMT28). Hourly particulate chemical oxygen demand (PCOD) samples were collected from the underway system. In addition, triplicate PCOD samples were collected from the noon CTD cast for each day of the transect. PCOD samples were analysed using a chemical assay read by a Thermo Scientific GENESYS 10S UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The data were collected by scientists at the Department of Earth System Science, University of California, Irvine for the research project: Quantifying ocean oxygen-to-carbon demand by chemical analyses and inverse models, funded by the National Science Foundation, Division of Ocean Sciences (OCE-1948842).
