Supplementary data for: Observability metrics and their link to service-level objectives in cloud-native microservices: a systematic mapping study

Supplementary data for a systematic mapping study, conducted following PRISMA 2020, of 39 peer-reviewed journal studies (2019–2025) on observability metrics in cloud-native microservices.The package contains the extracted data (one row per study), the extraction form with allowed values and coding rules, the search strings with per-database results, and the PRISMA flow diagram.The data cover the metrics reported at the network, system, and service levels, the categorical indicators, the primary monitoring purpose, and the quantitative benefits reported by each study.Each study is also coded for its association with service goals (SLO, SLA, QoS), classified as explicit, inferred, or none.All frequency counts reported in the article can be reproduced from the CSV file.
