This dataset shows spatial zooplankton identification and concentration (ind./m3), collected in February 2024 under coastal sea ice at 5 stations along a transect in Nain Bay, Nunatsiavut. Environmental measurements of ice thickness (cm), snow cover thickness (cm), both air and surface water temperature (°c) and surface salinity (PSU) were additionally collected.
We wish to acknowledge with respect that this research is undertaken with permission from the Nunatsiavut Government (NGRAC-14840996), and as part of the Sustainable Nunatsiavut Futures project, on Labrador Inuit Lands.
