Multidimensional Flood Historical Event Data of Pakistan (1990–2025)

This dataset records 91 independent flood events and is organized into five data tables associated through a unique event identifier, following the principles of relational database design: (1) Event Basic Information Table, containing time attributes, flood type, disaster-causing mechanisms, and climate driving factors; (2) Spatial and Hydrological Information Table, recording the flood extent, affected regions, affected river systems, flood levels, and affected water conservancy facilities; (3) Disaster Impact Table, covering casualties, affected population, house damage, livestock deaths, total economic loss, and infrastructure damage; (4) Early Warning and Response Table, recording the issuance of warnings and response actions at government, international organization, and community levels; (5) Data Provenance Table, providing complete references and data links to ensure traceability. This dataset integrates and standardizes information from multiple channels, including EM-DAT, Pakistan NDMA reports, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) bulletins, provincial government assessment reports, international organization disaster reports, peer-reviewed literature, and media reports, providing readily usable data resources for flood risk assessment in Pakistan, climate-disaster attribution studies, loss modeling, and disaster governance evaluation.
