This is a combined dataset of soil carbon isotope within 0-5 cm across Tibetan Plateau. The primary dataset was from Lu et al., (2004) and Qi (2017). Lu, H. Y., Wu, N. Q., Gu, Z. Y., Guo, Z. Distribution of Organic Carbon Isotope Composition for Modern Soils from the Eastern Margin of the Tibetan Plateau and its Main Controlling Factors: China University of Geosciences, Wuhan.The file named "TP_C13_1000m.tif" means the predicted gridded soil carbon isotopes (δ13C) dataset with a spatial resolution of 1000 m using Random Forest. The file named "TP_beta_1000m.tif" means the calcuated β dataset with a spatial resolution of 1000 m. The β is a proxy the decomposition of soil organic carbon (SOC), calculated by δ13C divided by logarithmically converted SOC.
