RNA-Seq of gill tissue (both anterior and posterior gills) from Callinectes sapidus was carried out in order to identify differentially expressed genes between gill type or salinity treatments (chronically held at 35ppt vs. 7 days in 10ppt). In addition to the raw sequence reads generated from the 12 samples used in this project that were uploaded to the SRA, a C. sapidus "composite" gill transcriptome was assembled using reads from all treatments and contigs were uploaded to the TSA.
