Meltwater experiments are performed with the Earth system model of intermediate complexity LOVECLIM (Goosse et al., 2010) under 49ka and 12 ka boundary conditions with their appropriate obliquity values as well as with low obliquity (22.1 deg). The impact on atmospheric CO2 and the oceanic and terrestrial carbon cycle is assessed to understand the impact of obliquity on the carbon cycle.
