Political Townships

township supervisor, assessor, road commissioner, etc. However, Zion Township
is uniquely defined in law as being coterminous with the City of Zion. Since
the city can and does annex additional land, whenever it does so the boundary
of Zion Township also changes to match it.<br /><p>
