Type 1 and Type 2 diabetic hearts transcriptional sequencing raw count data

Transcriptomic sequencing results for hearts from type 1 and type 2 diabetic mice and their respective control groups. After RNA extraction from the hearts, sequencing was carried out on the Illumina PE150 platform. Raw sequencing reads were aligned to the Ensembl mouse genome (mm10, GRCm38) using Hisat2 (v0.1.6-beta) with default settings. Gene-level read counts were obtained with HTSeq (v2.0.1), retaining only reads mapping to exonic regions and summing counts per gene. Reads overlapping multiple genes or aligning to multiple genomic loci were excluded to produce the final gene-expression matrix.
