Annual growth rate of crude steel production in China 2011-2021

In 2021, China's crude steel production saw a negative growth of three percent to a total annual output of 1,033 million metric tons, as the country implemented regulatory policies to curb its excessive growth. Annual crude steel production in China has generally been on an upward trend over the past decade, with only one negative growth of 2.3 percent in 2015.
