ESA CLIM4Cities - Land Use / Land Cover Layers for Copanhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg and Odense

This dataset provides Land Use / Land Cover layers for the Danish functional urban areas of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg, and Odense at a 0.002 x 0.002º resolution. The provided layers are: Distance to coastline Fraction of area covered by impervious surface Local Climate Zone classification Bowen ratio associated with Local Climate Zone classification Fraction of area covered by tree canopy Surface altitude Maximum vertical angle to terrain toward east Maximum vertical angle to terrain toward north Maximum vertical angle to terrain toward northeast Maximum vertical angle to terrain toward northwest Maximum vertical angle to terrain toward south Maximum vertical angle to terrain toward southeast Maximum vertical angle to terrain toward southwest Maximum vertical angle to terrain toward west The provided layers were produced and used as predictores to downscale Air Temperature data within the CLIM4cities project funded by the European Space Agency (ESA Contract No. 4000143628/24/I-DT, AI Trustworthy Applications for Climate).
