Twelve of patients who have peri-implantitis and periodontitis were selected. They were evaluated based on the clinical examination and radiographic data. Subgingival biofilm samples were taken from the deepest pockets, and sequencing libraries were obtained from purified RNA. Sequencing was carried out by using an Illumina platform.
