The location is a ruin, the circa 1925 biological station of Alf Wollebæ, on Floreana Island (aka Santa MarÃa Island, or Charles Island), Galápagos Islands, Ecuador. The director is the actor and director Emory Johnson who was on the island while travelling on the third Allan Hancock Pacific expedition of the Velero III. The chief officer of the Velero III, W. Charles Swett, is the photographer.
