The data related to the article “Double quantum images encryption scheme based on chaotic system” was published in the journal of Chinese Physics B. The pseudo-random sequences generated by the two-dimensional hyperchaotic system in this paper are included in files sequence-x.txt and sequence-y.txt. The results of NIST test are included in files finalAnalysisReport-x.txt and finalAnalysisReport-y.txt. The specific encryption and decryption steps in this paper are contained in source codes Encryption_and_Decryption_A.m and Encryption_and_Decryption_B.m. The str2dec.m is a sub-code that implements the source code, and the m-file is MATLAB code and can be opened with MATLAB 7. The file image_hash.py is a python program to calculate the hash value of the original image, it can be opened with PyCharm software or other IDEs.
