A core vocabulary database for Romance lexified creoles

An open-access comparative database containing over 6500 basic lexemes in 34 French, Portuguese, and Spanish creole languages. It is designed to aid the documentation of often under-researched languagesand provide a new tool for comparative linguistic research. Released at the 24th Annual Conferenceof the Association of Portuguese and Spanish-Lexified Creoles (ACBLPE) and the Summer Conferenceof the Society for Pidgin and Creole Linguistics (SPCL) - 2026, hosted by Aarhus University.
