It has been specifically filtered to include all available African countries, and was repackaged by Electric Sheep Africa into Parquet format optimized for machine learning applications. FAOSTAT is the world's largest and most comprehensive statistical database covering food, agriculture, fisheries, forestry and rural development. This dataset contains data from 33 African countries spanning the years 1961 to 2013, with a total of 1,718,564 records, involving 118 items and 16 elements, and is intended for food balance and related agricultural statistics analysis.
