MIDORI2 reference databases (legacy release GB265, 2025-03-08)

MIDORI2 is a collection of quality-controlled, preformatted reference databases for taxonomic assignment of eukaryotic mitochondrial sequences, built from GenBank. This record is an archival copy of legacy release GB265, distributed on 2025-03-08. The files were retrieved from https://www.reference-midori.info/ and bundled into 36 uncompressed zip archives containing 1408 files in total, one archive per output format. File names and directory structure inside each archive are preserved exactly as distributed; early releases use the older MIDORI_ prefix rather than MIDORI2_, and this has deliberately not been normalised. SHA-256 checksums for every archive are provided in MIDORI2_GB265_sha256.txt.
