Detailed analysis of the faecal and intra-pancreatic microbiota revealed for the first time that combination of faecal and intratumor microbial profiling emerged as important markers in classifying pancreatic lesion cases. The strategies of composite microbial markers may offer a promising approach to serve as a less-invasive, more sensitive and specific clinical markers in early detection of pancreatic cancer to avoid delay.
