NSF-Goali: Future Underground Landscape -Learning from Large Excavations in a Complex Urban Environment - Field Monitoring and Testing data

The major expansion of the Los Angeles Metro system provided the unique opportunity to collect and analyze data needed to improve excavation performance. Within the NSF funded GOALI Award “Future Underground Landscape - Learning from Large Excavations in a Complex Urban Environment,” several excavation case histories were collected and archived for future use by the proposal investigators. Data are being curated as they become available and shareable, allowing the user to analyze and model unique excavation designs in various geological settings. This dataset accompanies a first suite of publications by the research team, and provide excavation data (settlements, deformations) and in-situ and laboratory test data from soil samples at the project location
