Kikuletwa River Level Data set

Version 2 represents an improvement over the initial release, with enhanced preprocessing and treatment of missing data and anomalies.

The original dataset (v1) contained missing values due to sensor malfunctions and operational challenges. While these gaps were previously handled using simple forward fill imputation, version 2 employs more advanced interpolation method-PCHIP (Piecewise Cubic Hermite Interpolation Polynomial)—to ensure a smoother, more accurate representation of the river levels. These methods preserve the natural trends and fluctuations of the river data, particularly during periods of sharp transitions caused by rainfall and flood events.
