Fluorescence-based sensors of tryptophan (TRP) and chromophoric dissolved organic matter (CDOM) can provide real-time information on water quality. This resource includes data on water quality of the Tijuana River at the International Boundary and Water Commission stream gage for the years 2022 and 2023, including TRP, CDOM, and standard parameters including temperature, conductivity, and turbidity. TRP and CDOM were measured continuously with an in situ sumbersible sonde (Manta) and in the laboratory using a Horiba Aqualog fluorometer. Additional files include the results of wastewater addition experiments conducted in the laboratory, using both the Manta and Aqualog to measure TRP and CDOM. The README file contains details.
