Early Decline of Conventional NK Cells During Acute Pseudomonas aeruginosa Lung Infection

To assess gene expression changes, RNA-sequencing technology was employed to map the temporal shifts in the transcriptional profile of the host lung post-infection. Our findings provide novel insights into the pathogenesis of PA pulmonary infections and offer valuable suggestions for inhalational infection protection and immunotherapy. Overall design: Lung mRNA profiles of 8 week-old female wild type (WT) mice infected with PAO1 by aerosolized intratracheal inoculation and control mice were genreated by deep sequencing on the Illumina sequencing platform NovaSeq 6000. RT–PCR validation was performed using SYBR Green assays.
