Based on the distribution of target tadpoles, 1 kilometer of the middle segment of the Heilongjiang stream (103.3970°E, 29.5781°N), Qingyinge of Emei Mountain, Sichuan Province, China, was selected as the transect, in which was sampled after sunset (between 20:30 and 23:00) from 22th to 27th August, 2018. Each spot occupied by <i>L. boringii</i> and/or <i>Q. boulengeri</i> tadpoles was recorded as one quadrat. In each quadrat, a set of eight microhabitat environmental factors were measured based on previous studies and all the target tadpoles in the quadrat were recorded the numbers.
