A study on the Effect of Education Training on Parents With Autism Based on Denver Model：A randomized controlled trial

Use The demographic questionnaire,Trait Coping Style Questionnaire,Illness Cognition Questionnaire-Parent version,Depression Anxiety Stress Scales,Guilt about Parenting Scale and Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 26.0. For the test group and for the According to the general data of the parents in the group, the frequency and percentage were used for statistical description. Comparison of the scores of TCSQ, ICQ-P, DASS-21, GAPS and BCFQOL between the two groups in general data and before intervention: Chi-square test or Fisher's exact method were used for comparison of general data. Two independent samples t-test was used for normal or approximate normal scores, and two independent samples were used for skewness distribution Mann-Whitney U-rank sum test. The scores of TCSQ, ICQ-P, DASS-21, GAPS and BCFQOL in the two groups before and after the intervention were in accordance with normal or approximate normal distribution by paired t-test, and the differences of TCSQ, ICQ-P, DASS-21, GAPS and BCFQOL in the two groups before and after the intervention were in accordance with the skewed distribution by non-parametric test. The differences of TCSQ, ICQ-P, DASS-21, GAPS and BCFQOL in the two groups before and after the intervention were in accordance with the skewed distribution by Wilcoxon rank sum test. A p-value <0.05 was considered to indicate statistical significance.In this study, ESDM-based education and training for parents of autistic children can improve parents' positive coping styles and disease cognition, improve parents' parenting guilt, relieve depression, anxiety and stress, and improve the quality of life of families with autistic children.
