Data for the Research Article "Large Seismogenic Landslides Volume and Runout Estimation with Machine Learning"

This repository contains the data used in the research article entitled "Large Seismogenic Landslides Volume and Runout Estimation with Machine Learning".
Contents

The zip archive includes the following:

- IRIS_DMC_esecEventsDDb.txt: Raw database of landslides used in the study, obtained from the ESEC catalogue.
- MATTFINAL.npy: Matrix containing all the features computed for seismic signals generated by the landslides.

Additionally, there are two folders:

- XML: Contains subfolders for each landslide in the "IRIS_DMC_esecEventsDb", identified by their "associationId" numbers. These subfolders contain XML files with metadata for each station that recorded the seismic signal of the respective landslide.
- SelectedTraces: Contains miniseed (.mseed) files with seismological streams (in the Obspy definition) of seismic signals used to compute features for each landslide in the catalog. Pickle (*.pck) files are also provided, which contain the seismological data streams and computed features for each station.
