资源简介:
Metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MASLD) is on the rise globally, characterized by liver fat accumulation of 5% or more alongside at least one cardiometabolic criterion. Lifestyle interventions, including dietary adjustments and exercise, are crucial for MASLD management. Previous studies suggest these interventions can alter gut microbiota composition in MASLD patients. This research aims to assess the effects of lifestyle modifications on liver fat, liver function, and gut microbiota in pediatric MASLD patients. We enrolled Pediatric MASLD patients aged 10 to under 18 years from Seoul National University Children's Hospital from October 2022 to June 2023. Participants underwent 12 weeks of lifestyle modifications, including diet and exercise. Anthropometric measurements, blood tests, fecal microbiota analysis, and liver MRI were conducted at the study's onset and conclusion.
