Impact of freeze-drying and subsequent short-term storage of soil on detectable microbial communities by high-throughput sequencing. Arbuscular mycrorrhizal fungi and bacterial communities were analyzed by 454 sequencing of ribosomal RNA region at RNA and DNA level. Detected communities were compared for storage conditions including frozen soil control samples.
