RNA-seq analysis of HeLa cells infected with YK410, a recombinant strain of HSV-1

To analyze the relationship between the expression of viral late protein and mRNA in cells infected with HSV-1, HeLa cells were infected with YK410, a recombinant strain of HSV-1, and fractionated based on the fluorescence intensity of Venus-Us11. The expression of viral mRNA in each subpopulation was analyzed by RNA sequencing (RNA-seq). Overall design: HeLa cells infected with YK410 were analyzed by flow cytometry and sorted into six subpopulations based on the fluorescence intensity of Venus-Us11. The total RNA prepared from each subpopulation was subjected to RNA-seq analysis.
