We applied the genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 knockout (GeCKO) screening technique and loss-of-function experiment, as well as other experimental techniques to comprehensively investigate profibrotic regulators contributing to EMT and the pathogenesis of pulmonary fibrosis.
