The Temperature Probes on Tempo-mini was deployed on 2008-09-28 at Patricia Bay. Patricia Bay is located in the Saanich Inlet, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. This device is a Temperature Array. Temperature arrays are instruments that have multiple temperature sensors that are connected, but spatially distributed in a region of interest, such as the flanks of hydrothermal vents or around gas hydrate mounds. Specific details like spacing and sensor specifications vary. It was deployed on a fixed platform.
