Albeit scientific community involved in surveillance of the pathogenic bacteria Listeria monocytogenes improved drastically the typing process switching from multi-locus sequence typing (MLST) methods to coregenome MLST-based approaches with pretty much standardized scheme of alleles, this whole cgMLST process is not completely harmonized yet. In the absence of studies comparing cgMLST workflows according to different parameters of interest, we propose in the present study to decipher the impacts of in vitro and in silico parameters on precision of cgMLST workflows.
