Highly active pectin lyase mutant Escherichia coli genome sequencing

Identifi one base mutation and one base deletion. Regarding the base mutation, the amino acid was mutated from arginine to leucine, and the corresponding gene was found to encode a tetrakisphosphatase. Regarding the deletion, two bases were missing, and the mutated gene encodes ribonuclease E. It is thus possible that the mutations in these two enzymes resulted in the increased expression of pectin lyase in the mutant strain.
