Geologic map of the Amundsen-Ganswindt basin, Moon

These files contain GIS feature layers of a geological map of the "Amundsen-Ganswindt" peak-ring impact basin near the south pole of the Moon. It accompanies "The Amundsen-Ganswindt basin: An overlooked lunar peak-ring basin with multiple exploration opportunities," by Hostrawser and Osinski, 2025 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.icarus.2025.116718). The map is in polar stereographic projection, in the MOON2000 GCS, at a scale of 1:1,000,000. The feature layers are included as an ArcGIS Pro layer package and as several shapefiles. Shapefile users may find the suggested symbologies in the included .tif file useful.
