Dataset and GIS workflow for seismic hazard and liquefaction susceptibility mapping of Greater Chennai

This dataset contains the input, intermediate, and output files used in the study “Integrated seismic hazard and liquefaction susceptibility mapping of a coastal megacity: A GIS-based first-level assessment.” The repository includes:(i) aggregated ward-level groundwater data used for interpolation,(ii) AHP pairwise comparison matrix and derived weights,(iii) GIS layers including surface-level PGA, liquefaction susceptibility, and final seismic hazard classification,(iv) interpolated groundwater depth raster,(v) QGIS project file and workflow documentation. Geological and geomorphological source datasets were obtained from the Geological Survey of India (GSI) Bhukosh portal and are not redistributed here due to data policy restrictions. However, all derived layers and processing steps required for reproducibility are included. The dataset supports reproducibility of the first-level hazard assessment at the city scale.
