This series comprises files of newsletters produced by Prince Henry’s Hospital (previously known as Melbourne Homoeopathic Dispensary 1869-1876; Melbourne Homoeopathic Hospital 1876-1934) (VA 441). Issues of two newspapers are included; “The Pulse” (1967-1986) and “Prince Henry’s Happenings” (1980-1987). The purpose of the newsletters was to inform and engage staff in matters relevant to the hospital. Background information regarding the development of "The Pulse" newsletter is recorded in the minutes of meetings of the Hospital Journal Editorial Committee, which can be found in Minutes of Sundry Committees (VPRS 19367).
