Enrichment broths for Salmonella Metagenome

To better understand the consequences of different culturing techniques, we performed shotgun metagenomic sequencing using Illumina’s MiSeq platform for three replicate samples of three different culturing techniques (Universal Pre-enrichment broth (UPB), Rappaport-Vassiliadis (RV) medium, and Tetrathionate (TT) broth) that are used to increase the detectability of Salmonella sp. We also include three uncultured replicates.
