Comparative transcriptomics of Calochortus species investigating the genomic underpinning of floral syndromes

The genus Calochortus varies in the floral syndromes observed including mariposa, fairy lantern, and cat's ear. Using field collected samples, comparative transcriptomic analyses were employed to look at genes associated with different floral syndromes and the role of candidate gene expression and sequence composition.
